IFSTP Statement of Purpose
The International Federation of Societies of Toxicologic Pathologists (IFSTP) is a not-for-profit association consisting of national and regional Societies of Toxicologic Pathology (STP). Its activities are governed by member STPs that provide funds and volunteers to conduct IFSTP functions. The IFSTP’s role is to build, integrate and set standards in toxicologic pathology, to support educational activities, to foster the establishment of new societies of toxicologic pathology, and to represent member societies in the regulatory environment. This role is achieved by co-sponsoring joint IFSTP/STP annual meetings, providing travel awards to toxicologic pathology trainees, supporting educational symposia, lectures and webinars, and providing expert opinions related to the practice of toxicologic pathology. Since its inception, IFSTP has sponsored more than a dozen meetings and symposia across the globe and has been instrumental in assisting with the organization of numerous societies of toxicologic pathology; most recently in Latin America, India and China. Through relationships with corporate partners, IFSTP can continue to expand its efforts to educate, train and support toxicologic pathologists across the globe. All contributions received from corporate partners are earmarked to support the activities of the association and all partners are acknowledged for their participation and support in these efforts.
For more information on sponsorship opportunties, please contact Stephanie Dickinson, Executive Director at ifstp-hq@verizon.net or call (856)223-5174.
